Are the dish suggestions real?
Claude reads each restaurant's actual reviews and only suggests a dish the reviews genuinely mention. If nothing specific comes up, it says so honestly instead of inventing one.
Is the price filter exact?
It's a ceiling based on Google's 0-4 price tier, not an exact per-item price. The $/$$/$$$ ranges shown are approximate, per-person guides, not guarantees.
Does "Sharing" show real prices?
No. Google doesn't provide real menu prices, so we only calculate a total budget for the group to guide how many items make sense. We never invent or display a per-item dollar figure.
How accurate are dietary restriction matches?
Best-effort only, based on whatever reviews happen to mention: there's no real ingredient or allergen data, so always double-check with the restaurant directly.
What does the progress bar count?
Restaurants FoodFindr has shown you in your city so far, not every restaurant that exists. It grows as you search rather than starting from a true city-wide total.
What counts toward my streak?
Any day you log at least one visit, based on UTC calendar days. Logging twice in one day only counts once.
How is the leaderboard ranked?
By total visits logged, all-time. Streaks are shown alongside but don't affect rank, so a missed day shouldn't tank your spot.
